David, I wonder if the method of laying in color next to color, sometimes popping the chroma, side by side--is better suited to harder, more defined forms such as objects-- skin is soft, edges turn in blurs, the color is all about muting and mid-tone.... I am reminded of Wayne Thiebaud--the way he will paint a cake and a figure....how they turn out someone good to look at for evaluating the issue of painting objects and figures
Yes, I have a jpeg of my figure and a close up of the face! But how do you post on this Blog? I'm sorry about my blog/computer illiteracy. I Can also email it to you!
David: invite them to post. The only way you guys can post, is to be invited as a poster on the blog. You'll receive an email telling you such. Another route is to email David directly and send him the jpegs....and he can post. Or, send them to me, and I will. Okay? Okay!
hey guys i was wondering if you knew when we get these paintings back? i see they're still up but i just dont want to end up losing mine because it's happened to me before with these display cases.
Go to 291C and check the racks. If paintings aren't there (after they've been taken down) talk to Julie Weitz, area coordinator. But I told her to put them in the racks and you guys would pick them up there. Elisabeth
People! It's official. Paintings are down in the racks. GO GET THEM ASAP Many classes in there--grab 'em before someone else does okay? OKAY, Robert!!! Tee hee. Elisabeth
