other self portrait

Hey guys, i had made 2 self portraits, and I wanted to post this second one. The reason I didn't show it is cuz I'm part naked and I also thought it didn't exactly fill the requirments but since I've seen half of you part naked on your paints now..lol I figured I'd show this one too and see if you think it's a little better than the other one. Anyway here it is. Oh and sorry it's an awful picture of it

Cvetelina...

Your figure work is always so amazing...I wish you would have brought this in for the class to see...Did you use oil or acrylic??? Also what is the size of the piece?...I love the way you work the color...you have the side by side effect working for you in this piece...And you capture the movement of the body so well with the way you use color...That elbow is working it…You capture the foreshorten and the depth of the elbow and the back…Did you use a limited palette? Excellent work Cvetelina hope to see more...

Wish you'd shown it
what an imagination you have
spike through forehead w paint brush! NOW THIS!
The back treatment is also very beautiful, how the green licks over the alizarin crimson recesses...
I do think you need a large scale, to let that paint really go: I envision your scale at about 3 x 5 feet, to really let that dancing brush fly....
and you'd have to stand to paint!
Will post a few figures in the next few days.

i actually made myself use oil agian for this one..i wish i had shown elizabeth this one instead. it's a bit small tho, not sure about the measurements but its a little bigger than a normal peace of paper for a computer. i had a lot of gesoed papers left over like that..i hope i can do more so i get better with oil..oh and david that sucks you're not in my drawing class, hope you get in. seems like it's gonna be so much fun. i love looking at everyone's work here..hope you guys keep posting more!
